PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent plasma from diffusing among adjacent cells causing a cross talk by forming a partition at the upper substrate so that a partition is crossed to a data electrode with a fixed angle. SOLUTION: A plasma display panel is provided with the upper substrate 101 and the lower substrate 102. A sustaining electrode 103 and a scanning electrode are arranged in parallel on a surface of the upper substrate 101 opposing to the lower substrate 102, and a dielectric layer 107 protecting them is formed. On the other hand, a data electrode 105 is formed in the direction being perpendicular to a direction of the scanning electrode 104 and the sustaining electrode 103 on a surface of the lower substrate 102 opposing to the upper substrate 101. A partition 100 for forming a space is formed between the upper substrate 101 and the lower substrate 102, this partition 100 is not parallel with the data electrode 105, it is provided being tilted with a fixed angle. This partition is formed at the upper substrate 101. |
