PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor device for dividing and connecting cars, which requires no additional connection signal line even if the number of types of the cars is increased. SOLUTION: The monitor terminal 3 of a Car No. N is connected to a connector 1 with only a connection detecting signal line 7. A central monitor device 4 performs a polling transmission with the monitor terminal 3 of each car. A coded signal input circuit 8 inputs car-type coded signals from each car and outputs them to an operating and car-type judging circuit 9, which then inputs these car-type code signals and simultaneously inputs a connection detecting signal as digital information from the monitor terminal 3 of the Car No. N to perform a connection operation and judge the type of cars. A display control circuit 10 displays on the screen of a monitor display 5 the completion of the proper connection with other counterpart constituted cars judged by the operating and car-type judging circuit 9 and the details of the type of cars of other counterpart constituted cars. |
