PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optical recording medium capable of excellently recording and reproducing for a specified wavelength of recording light or the optical recording medium capable of excellently recording and reproducing for a specified wavelength of the recording light and moreover capable of excellently recording and/or reproducing for the light of the short wavelength different from this and its recording and/or reproducing method in the optical recording medium successively formed at least a recording layer, an intermediate layer and a reflecting layer containing the coloring matter absorbing the recording light on a transparent substrate.
