PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of restricting the pull-out of a fixing means if a medium is broken when the fixing means is pulled out of a device mainbody and allowing a user to easily judge whether the fixing means should be pulled out or not. SOLUTION: An image forming device has a solenoid 60 to move a restricting lever 59 to the first position where it contacts the fixer 34, when a sheet P is jammed across between a fixer 34 side and a device mainbody 1 side, and to move it to the second position for escaping from the first position, when the sheet P is jammed inside or outside the fixer 34, and a display to display that the fixer 34 can be pulled out, when the restricting lever 59 is moved to the second position by the solenoid 60, and to display that the fixer 34 can not be pulled out, when the restricting lever 59 is moved to the first position. |
