PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for an old person capable of displaying corresponding to a visual sense characteristic of individual old person and the set-up condition of the display device by inputting individual conditions related to a user and device set-up environment and correcting the stored image data based on obtained parameters. SOLUTION: An environmental condition detection means 106 detects the setup environmental conditions of the device to transfer the set-up environmental conditions to an image data correction means 103 as a correction adjusting parameter. A visual sense characteristic detection means 107 detects the visual sense characteristic of the user to transfer the characteristic to the image data correction means 103 as the correction adjusting parameter. An image correction instruction input means 108 inputs image correction instructive contents from the user to transfer them to the image data correction means 103 as the correction adjusting parameter. The image data correction means 103 reads out the visual sense characteristic data from a visual sense characteristic data, storage means 102 to correct the image data by the visual sense characteristic data and respective correction adjusting parameters. A display means 104 displays the sent corrected image data.
