PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability and provide a power source with high capacity and density by using, in a negative electrode, a carbon particle by which a metal for forming an alloy with lithium and a metal forming no alloy with lithium are supported, and using a Mn-containing transition metal oxide in a positive electrode. SOLUTION: A negative electrode 3 contains a carbon on which both a metal forming an alloy with lithium and a metal forming no alloy with lithium are supported, or both the metals are supported as their alloy. A positive electrode 4 contains a Mn-containing transition metal oxide. The metal forming an alloy with lithium forms the alloy, on the basis of metal atom 7 to lithium 1, in an atomic ratio less than it. As the carbon material, graphite carbon or amorphous carbon is used. The metal forming the alloy with lithium consists of at least one or more element selected from Ag, Sn, and Al. The metal forming no alloy with lithium is Cu element. |
