摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode having a high capacity and satisfactory reversibility by using a material containing an organic sulfur compound capable of forming S-S bond reversible by oxidation, a metal component selected from transition metals, and a conductive component. SOLUTION: An organic sulfur compound can form S-S bond by electrolytic oxidation, and be regenerated reversibly by the reductive cut of the S-S bond. As the functional group capable of forming the S-S bond, mercaptane, thiolate and the like are given. Concrete examples of the compound include 2,5 dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole and the like. The metal component consists of one or more selected from transition metal, its alloy and ionic salt, and a combination thereof. The transition metal preferably consists of V, Cr, Mn, Fe or the like which has a polyoxidized state. The conductive component consists of a conductive carbon or conductive polymer, including graphite or polyaniline.
