IDENTITY AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR USING MARK INVISIBLE TO NAKED EYE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and surely perform the effective judgment on genuineness and authentication of identity for an object to be authenticated, by printing previously a mark invisible to the naked eye on the object, applying the adaptive out-visible area radiation to the object, and identifying the presence of reflection received from the mark also the identity of the object. SOLUTION: A mark that is invisible to the naked eye is printed on an object M to be authenticated by means of the special ink. The object M is irradiated with a radiation light L1 sent from a radiation source 1, and a desired radiation component included in the reflected light L2 is detected by a sensor 3. The detection of the radiation component is recognized by a feature recognition means 4. A feature storage means 5 stores the mark printed on the object M in the form of a pattern or a digital signal. A feature collation means 6 collates the feature of the object M recognized by the means 4 with the storage contents of the means 5 and outputs the collation result. Then the collation result is displayed or notified by an alarm in a complete coincidence or non- coincidence state.
