PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store information sufficiently necessary for trouble analysis in a trace file in a small size by storing the absolute minimum data for protocol failure analysis among protocol data in the trace file. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a header position designating part 12 for designating position information for dividing protocol data into header and user data, and a header dividing part 11 for dividing the protocol data inputted to a trace part 7 into the header and the user data based on the position information designated by the header position designating part 12, and stores only the header in a trace file 8 on a memory. In this case, information unnecessary for protocol failure analysis is not stored in the trace file 8 so that information sufficiently necessary for trouble analysis can be stored in the trace file 8 in a small size. |
