PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device at a low cost in a simple constitution capable of completely preventing the resist deviation on a front side and the rear side of transfer paper. SOLUTION: This device is, as the device capable of forming the image on both side, constituted by equipping the image forming means (9 and 6) for performing write-in to the image carrier 9 and transfer of the toner image, and resist rollers 3 taking the timing of transporting the transfer paper. In such a case, pattern write-in means 7 form the measuring pattern on a specified position on the transfer paper surface. Deviation detecting means 5, provided with two light receiving elements 5b arranged in the width direction of the transfer paper across the specific space, detect the resist deviation and inclination of the transfer paper, on detecting the transfer paper and the above measuring pattern. Correcting means (such as 13), correct the image forming position with respect to the rear side of the transfer paper, based on the detection result of the detecting means 5. |
