<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of preparing one wiring for each line and to reduce the number of wirings required for the transmission of address information compared to the number of storage lines by extracting address information from ATM cells transmitted through the respective lines and multiplexing and outputting them between the lines. SOLUTION: An ATM switch device is constituted of input parts, buffer parts and output parts. The first to n-th input cells 100-1 to 100-n of the input parts are inputted to the first to n/m-th input parts 102-1 to 102-n/m at every m-lines through n-pieces of input lines 101-1 to 101-n. The buffer parts are provided for buffering the respective line cells which are branched into four in the input parts 102-1 to 102-n/m. The first to n-th output parts 108-1 to 108-n collect cells inputted from the respective wirings and output cells from the output lines 109-1 to 109-n as output cells 110-1 to 110-n for the first to n-th lines.</p> |
