The invention concerns a device comprising a guiding slide (13, 23) for a control cable end (4) to the outside opening lever (3); the guiding slide is formed opposite a fork-shaped end of the lever (3) and defines with the latter a passage (19) for introducing the cable (4) ferrule (5), after the latter has passed through a sheath stop (9), said arrangement enabling the ferrule (5) to be automatically and blindly locked to the outside opening lever (3). After which the cable end length (4) projecting from the control side can be adjusted to eliminate all clearance in the device and tighten the cable.
