The invention relates to a capacitor connector, especially for an electrolytic power capacitor, by which means the capacitor (1) is connected mechanically and electrically to an attachment part or to electric conductors (8, 9). According to the invention, the capacitor connection is configured on the capacitor itself in the form of a contact pin (2) with a longer, essentially smooth contact surface (6). The cross-section of said contact pin (2) takes the form of a round or oval cylinder or a rectangular muff. The part which receives the contact pin consists of a contact spring (4). Said contact spring receives said contact pin in order to fix it mechanically and to produce electrical contact, and is fixed to a receiving track (3). An auxiliary spring (5) may encompass the contact spring annularly in order to increase the force of contact. It is possible to connect several capacitors on the receiving track (3) by simple plugging-in, i.e., without screw connections, on a single cooling body to form a capacitor bank, with simple tolerance compensation, without the connections being exposed to unnecessary forces.
