Ring spinner drawing unit

The drawing unit for ring spinning machines, with a fibre bundling zone, has a perforated belt (4) which passes round the suction shoe (6) and the adjacent feed roller (21) at a slight gap from them all round. The lower feed rollers (21) have separate drives (5) at least for each pair of spinning stations. A drive roller (5) is close to the lower feed roller (21), with its surface pressed against the roller surface to give a friction drive action. The drive roller (5) is a component of a drive shaft, fixed to the machine frame, extending along the line of spinning stations, with a drive transmission link to the drawing unit. The lower feed roller (21) has a radial movement, in relation to the drive roller (5), to be pressed against the drive roller by the upper feed roller (22).
