The reinforcement bars (2, 3, 4) run crossways through the insulating body and are effectively connected on both sides with the abutting building parts. Optionally, at least one additional insulating body can be fitted, next to the first, but with no reinforcement bars. At least one of the insulating bodies (1) has intended break points (5), at which it is extendable in relation to its expansion in the seam direction. The intended break points (5) in the case of the insulating body with reinforcement bars are arranged outside the area penetrated by the reinforcement bars.
