<p>The present invention is related to a solar cell in a semiconductor substrate comprising at least a radiation receiving front surface (2) and a second surface (3), said substrate comprising a first region (1) of one type conductivity, and a second region (8) of the opposite conductivity type with at least a first part located adjacent to the front surface (2) and with at least a second part located adjacent to the second surface (3), said front surface (2) having conductive contacts (10) to said second region (8) and said second surface (3) having separated contacts (6, 9) to said first region (1) and to said second region (8), wherein the contacts (9) to said second region (8) at the second surface (3) are connected to the contacts (10) at the front surface (2) through a limited number of vias (4).</p> |
