The display frame for CDs (36) has a housing (20) with an open front surface (22). Several holders (30) are arranged next to each other and one above another in the housing (20). CDs (36) packed in containers, to be removed individually, are arranged in the holders (30). The CDs are stacked one behind another and lie parallel to the front surface (22) of the housing (20). Each holder (30) has two parallel carrier rails (32) and side holder rails (34). The carrier rails are at least 10 deg., preferably 30 deg. to the front surface (22). A slider (38) is provided behind the stacked CDs (36). The front CD of each stack is pressed against upper and lower abutments (46). A space is provided below the CD so that it can be grasped and lifted upwards. A space is also provided above the front CD.
