Automatically controlled aircraft

The automatically controlled aircraft has a radar which plots itself automatically. The desired destination, the flight coordinates, the desired flying altitude are normally input by keyboard. One or two simultaneously operating computers take up direct control of the autopilot and optimise the flying speed according to fuel requirements. The computer coordinates the data of the altitude meter, compass, wind direction and strength, radar, weather chart generator and satellite navigation or other navigation aids. Radio beacons are automatically directed and are compared with the respective plotted course location. Defects in the apparatus or critical situations are displayed by an alarm tone and clear text on a display.
