A brake condition sensing system includes an indicator lamp 10, brake actuator travel limit switches 4A-4F, and brake wear sensors 6A-6F, the lamp, switches and sensors being electrically connected in series. The lamp 10 remains activated when the switches 4A-4F and sensors 6A-6F are in a normal condition and become deactivated and remains deactivated when any one of the switches 4A-4F and sensors 6A-6F is in an abnormal condition. In an alternate embodiment (Fig. 2), the brake condition sensing system is only powered when the vehicle brakes are applied. |
