Double mooring bollard (1) of the contra rotating, mechanically driven type, preferably intended for ship and offshore installations. The mooring bollard (1) includes fixed first and second mooring bollards (3, 3), a motor (4) provided inside at least one of the mooring bollards (3, 3) and with a driving axle (5) centrically provided inside at least one of the bollards (3, 3), outer cylinders (2) rotatably provided on the outside of the first and second mooring bollards (3) and with an upper end arranged for coupling to the driving axle (5).
