摘要 The three dimensional ultrasonic imaging unit includes an US converter array for transmitting US beams and for detecting US echos, reflected by a multiple of sample to test vols. in the object vols. A unit for obtaining pixel intensity data, which are derived from US echos, which are reflected by the scattering medium. Each pixel intensity date corresponds to one of a corresp. multiple of sample or test vols. A storage unit stores the pixel intensity data for each of the many sample or test vols. A unit reproduces a set of pixel intensity data from the storage unit, which corresponds to vol. of interest in the object vol. A unit projects the pixel intensity data set, corresp. to the vol. of interest on an image plane. So that a projected pixel intensity data set is formed, which represents a projected image. A unit transmits or transforms the projected set of data, in order to represent a contrast adjusted projected image. A display monitor and a unit a unit are provided, for indicating the contrast adjusted projected image on the display monitor.
