Composite sheet laid off the roll in cast floor construction to deaden footfall

A new flat composite deadening footfall, is used between cast floors and a hard subsurface. It (10) comprises a layer (14) of foamed polyethylene and a sound absorbent layer (12) bonded to it by a material with specific flexibility. Preferably the sound absorbent layer (12) has layers of foam on either side. The foam material is crosslinked- or non-crosslinked polyethylene. The sound absorbent layer is foamed polystyrene. It may comprise an air- and gas-tight air chamber sheet layer.
