An active material of a composition LixNiyMzO2 (wherein 0.8 < x < 1.5, 0.8 < y+z < 1.2, 0 </= z < 0.35; M is at least one element selected from Co, Mg, Ca, Sr, Al, Mn and Fe), a conductive agent, and a slurry containing a binder and an organic solvent are wet-kneaded together and dispersed by using a narrow-gap dispersing machine thereby to prepare a coating material comprising a depolarizing mix, which is applied onto the collectors. |
