The stuck-on corner strip is pressed down by a brush (18) which is in the form of a round brush (20) rotating on an axle (19) parallel with the conveyor direction (21) of the conveyor (3). The conveyor consists of a conveyor belt (4) moving past the brush and possessing a row of equidistant carriers and is driven by a drive mechanism. The corner strip sticker presses one corner strip (12) only with its first strip-part (22) against the first surface (15) so that its second strip-part (23) stands out from the packet (2).
