<p>A film tuck-in device comprising a loading mechanism (2) for loading an article (1) to be packaged in the device; a film feeding mechanism (3) for transferring a film (F) drawn out of a film roll (R) in the same direction where the article (1) is moved; a bag-making mechanism (4) for guiding the two edges of the film (F) to underneath the article (1) to form the film (F) into a tube; a bottom sealing mechanism (5) for superposing and sticking the edges one on the other at the bottom of the article (1); a cutter mechanism (6) for cutting the tubular film (F) between the article (1) and another article (1); film pinchers (18, 19) including a pair of rollers (17, 17) provided before and after the cutter mechanism (6) in the transferring direction of the article (1) and adapted to respectively pinch the front end (F1) and the rear end (F2) of the tubular film (F); push-in plates (20) provided before and after the cutter mechanism (6) correspondingly to the film pinchers (18, 19) and adapted to guide and insert the front end (F1) and the rear end (F2) into the respective film pinchers (18, 19); and rotating mechanisms (23, 33) for rotating the rollers (17) of the film pinchers (18, 19) so as to pull the front end (F1) and the rear end (F2) inserted into the film pinchers (18, 19) toward the lower part of the article (1) while tucking in the tubular film (F).</p> |
