<p>Security paper, security documents made from the security paper, and processes for making the security paper, are provided. A groove is formed in paper and a security element is positioned or bonded within the groove. A coating is applied over the security element so that the coating covers at least a portion of the security element and is coplanar with the surface of the paper. The security element may include any combination of security features for verification of document authenticity.</p> |
