Extractor for transferring high viscosity coating materials

The extractor feeds e.g. a mobile spray applicator (1), and has a pump (4) attached via suction pipe (5,7) which has right angled bends (6,8) to a metal suction inlet pipe (9) which has a chamfered, hardened and sharpened edge (13), and which protrudes vertically upwards through the middle of a horizontal metal table (10) supported on legs (11). The self-weight of the drum of coating material, when placed on the table, causes the suction pipe inlet to pierce the drum so that transfer of the viscous material can start immediately.
