<p>A core system for handling information on points and zones is separated from a user system that utilizes such information. A point/zone cell representing a point or a zone is disposed inside the core system, and reference to the point/zone cell is set from the user systern. After reference to this point/zone cell is set at an initial stage of investigation using the user system, a new point/zone cell can be added or the relation between the point and the zone can be represented by reference between the point/zone cells without affecting the former. Therefore, points and zones are roughly designated in an early stage and as the investigation of a user system proceeds, detailed information can be provided. The information on the point and the zone is not lost by deletion inside the user system. Further, the relation between the point and the zone such as an inclusion relation, an adjacency relation, a group relation, etc., can be represented by the reference between the point/zone cells. When the point/zone cell is designated and the investigation process is activated, their relation can be judged. <IMAGE></p> |
