The invention which is the subject of this application relates to a device for locking a door or window sash to a frame by using at least one locating protrusion 12 and a matching keep 16 each mounted on one of the sash or frame such that when the sash is brought to a closed position in the frame the protrusion can be moved to bring a member 14 provided in either of the protrusion or keep into engagement in an aperture 17 in the other of the protrusion or keep to thereby lock the same in position and prevent any attempts of manipulation of the sash or frame from releasing the protrusion form the keep as is possible with conventional locking devices. <IMAGE> |
