PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle from moving by leaving a shift lever in a locked condition when an attempt to move the vehicle by an illegal means is made. SOLUTION: When a door lock actuator is unlocked by a door unlock signal transmitted together with an identification code signal from an ignition key, a door lock ECU transmits a release signal to a theft prevention ECU, and the theft prevention ECU transmits a release signal to a shift lock ECU based on the release signal. Consequently, the shift lock ECU enables the shift lock release operation of a shift lock mechanism on the condition that the lock release conditions are satisfied. If a door is unlocked by a means other than a door unlock signal, the theft prevention ECU performs the theft prevention operation and does not output a release signal until the door lock ECU receives the door unlock signal. For this reason, the shift lock ECU leaves the shift lock mechanism in a condition in which shift lock release is impossible, even if the lock release conditions are satisfied. |
