PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food for preventing a wrapping film from being torn from the recessed and projecting parts or the like of the food which is a material to be packed at the time of pressurizing the food by smoothing a frozen food surface by sterilizing a package in which the surface of the material which is the food in a frozen state is deforested at a high pressure. SOLUTION: The material to be packed which is the food in the frozen state such as frozen fishes and shellfishes is filled in a bag made of a plastic film and vacuum-packed, the surface of the vacuum-packed material is defrosted, the package in which the surface of the material is defrosted is sterilized at the high pressure to manufacture the objective food.
