摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control the diameter of pores in a desired size by forming a gold coating on the surface of a sintered body shaped into a prescribed shape and produced by randomly layering stainless fiber with a specified fiber diameter. SOLUTION: Precision filter may be attained by making the void volume in fibers small to obtain the finest filtration precision by a sintered filter made of stainless fiber with 1μm fiber diameter, but in that case, the filtration resistance becomes high and the purpose of filtration can not be satisfied. For that reason, the fiber diameter of stainless fiber is made thick and the diameter of the fine pores of the filter is made small by carrying out surface treatment for a 5μm thick layer of the surface of a stainless fiber sintered filter having 0.2μm filtration precision with gold coating and consequently a micro filter made of a metal with which 0.2μm or finer precision filtration is carried out is obtained without deteriorating the mechanical strength and filtration efficiency. In this case, the diameter of the pores is controlled by optionally changing the thickness of the coating on the surface. Moreover, surface treatment by PVD, CVD, or a coating method may be employed for controlling the diameter of the pores.
