PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium having excellent repeating durability without nick on the medium even by repeated use with satisfactory color developability and color erasability. SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording medium comprises a reversible thermal recording layer containing reversible thermal color developing composition using electron donative coloring compound and electron acceptive compound to form a relatively color developing state and color erasing state due to a difference of heating temperature and/or cooling velocity after heating on a support. In this case, the reversible recording layer contains thermoplastic resin having a value of 300,000 or more (in terms of polystyrene) as weight-average molecular weight decided according to a gel permeation chromatography, organic pigment and/or inorganic pigment. |
