The rear opening door (10) of a hatchback type vehicle has a support plate (36), to which various accessories are pre- assembled, and which is then fitted to the rear door, from the internal side of the panel forming the body of the door. The support plate carries all the mechanisms, wiring and controls for the various accessories, which are required on the back door.
