A device for forcing-in a wound stator bundle (6) into an electric motor frame (5) consists of a jig, which is provided with a gauge (2) and forked shifter (7) and which is controlled by mean of an auxiliary hydraulic motor (14). A pneumatic motor's (10) actuation is conditioned by a frontal position of the auxiliary hydraulic motor's piston. That is secured by a terminal switch (15) that is put in series with a switching-in push button (12) for controlling the pneumatic motor (10).
