PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness in a change of fuel pressure by providing a first connecting pipe for connecting a fuel supply pipe to an internal combustion engine and a second connecting pipe for connecting the fuel supply pipe to a fuel pump and making the first and second connecting pies of a non- expansive and flexible material. SOLUTION: Fuel is supplied to a fuel supply pipe 14 connected to a fuel pump 30 attached to a fuel tank 32. The fuel pump 30 controls a discharge pressure by using a variable sped motor. The fuel supply pipe 14 is provided for supplying fuel stored in the fuel tank 32 to a fuel injection valve. This fuel supply pipe 14 includes connecting pipes 14a and 14b for connection with a fuel rail and the fuel pump 30 and a fixed pipe 14c fixed in a vehicle. For the connecting pipes 14a and 14b, nylon pipes are used. Thus, since expansion is difficult even when a fuel pressure is increased high, no changes occur in the volume of the fuel supply pipe 14 and thus response delay is prevented in a change of fuel pressure. |
