PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject virus vector exhibiting a factor for inhibiting the function of a human complement on the vector, capable of inhibiting the function of the local human complement, capable of being applied to conventional vector-producing systems, and capable of being frequently administered. SOLUTION: This new virus vector exhibits membrane-binding type DAF (CD55), MCP (CD46), CR1 (CD35), CD59, etc., which are factors for inhibiting the function of a human complement. The virus vector can inhibit the function of the local human complement, can be applied to conventional established vector-producing systems, and can frequently be administered in vivo. The virus vector is obtained by introducing a virus vector DNA into a cell exhibiting a protein necessary for constituting virus particles originated from a retrovirus having at least infectivity and a factor for inhibiting the function of membrane- binding type human complement, culturing the cell and subsequently recovering the produced virus vector. |
