PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slipper type cleaner with a heightened cleaning capacity by increasing usability, economization and durability to make wiping cloth attachable and detachable and making it possible to wipe off both watery and greasy stains. SOLUTION: In a slipper type cleaner 1A consisting of a slipper-like mop base 3A and wiping cloth 2A, wiping cloth 2 is formed by a mixture of hydrophilic fibers containing micro-fine fibers with a fiber diameter of 1-10μm and lipophilic fibers. At the bottom of the mop base 3A, stop means 7 to attach the wiping cloth 2A free to be attached or detached, are provided. A locking piece 8a and locking hole 8b are provided in the mop base 3A and wiping cloth 2A to construct a means to prevent the leading end of the wiping cloth 2A from turning up.
