PRODUCTION OF DIACETOXYBUTENE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce diacetoxybutene in high yield by an acetoxylating reaction of butadiene. SOLUTION: Acetic acid having <=0.2 wt.% content of formic acid is used as the acetic acid of a raw material in a method for reacting butadiene with the acetic acid and molecular oxygen in the presence of a palladium-based catalyst and producing diacetoxybutene.
