PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device of roasting tea in which one can roast and extract tea appropriately without ruining its ingredients nor its taste. SOLUTION: This invention involves the following procedure. A stirrer 4 in a wooden pestle shape or an alar shape having the same outer diameter as the inner diameter of a cylindrical tea container 1 equipped with metal meshes 3 at the bottom is inserted free to slide up and down and in the upper center of the stirrer 4, a shank is installed. After a desired quantity of tea leaves is put in the tea vessel 1 of a roasting/extracting device equipped with a grip handle at the end through the lid 7 in between of the shank and soaked within hot water of a teabowl in which the predetermined hot water is put, it is stirred by the stirrer 4 from the above in such a manner as to be kneaded and pressed. |
