PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a construction material excellent in antifungal and antibacterial function with virtually no use of solvent. SOLUTION: This construction material is obtained by forming, on its surface, a coating film by the use of a powder coating material prepared by compounding a relevant resin with an inorganic antimicrobial agent and an organic iodo-based antimicrobial agent. In this case, the resin for powder coating material is pref. associated with an epoxy-based, acrylic or polyester-based powder coating material, and the inorganic antimicrobial agent is pref. such one as to have carried a microbicidal metal on an inorganic cation exchanger. |
