PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact-cushioning material which can be repeatedly used by a method wherein at least one end opening part of a second bag body which constitutes an internal layer, is connected to the opening of a cylindrical first bag body which constitutes an external layer, and the second bag body is stretched in the length direction when a fluid is filled between the first and second bag bodies. SOLUTION: When this expandable body 1 is used as an impact-cushioning body, a line fastener 6 is opened first, an article to be transported, e.g. a camera 7, is housed in a pocket part 4 from an inlet/outlet 5. Then, a tubular body 131 is inserted in a passage element 101 of an automatic closing valve 121, and a fluid, etc., are filled in an expandable chamber 8 between an external bag 2 and an internal bag 3. In this case, as the external bag 2 gradually expands, the bag body of the internal bag 3 is stretched in the longitudinal direction, and as the pocket part 4 is gradually pressurized, air in the pocket part 4 is automatically discharged from the inlet/outlet 5, and for this reason, the bag body of the internal bag 3 joins along the outer periphery of the camera 7 in the pocket part 4, and the camera 7 is stably held in the pocket part 4. |
