PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve further surely glossiness, water resistance, light resistance, etc., of an image by a method wherein preparing a film of a front layer is made more perfect in the case where the preparation of the film by heating of a latex front layer is executed after ink jet recording on a recording medium having an ink absorption lower part layer and a latex front layer on a base material. SOLUTION: Ink jet recording is executed by making a relation between a thickness d (μm) of an ink absorption lower part layer of a recording medium and a maximum ink recording speed V (m1/mm.sec) in ink jet recording, is, made d>=6.0.V in the case where a base material is water impermeable, and d>=3.0.v in the case where a base material is water permeable, and further, as occasion demands, time for permeation of ink from a latex front layer to the ink absorbing lower part layer is secured. |
