PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric ceramic composition, capable of being sintered together with silver, high in dielectric constant and capable of being produced at a low cost and high productivity without forming gaps between the main ingredient and internal silver electrode by including a specified quantity of silver as the auxilary ingredient in a compound oxide of Pb, Ca, W or Ti, Fe and Nb as the main ingredient. SOLUTION: This dielectric ceramic composition comprises a compound oxide of Pb, Ca, R (R is W or Ti), Fe and Nb as the main ingredient, sown by the formula (Pbx Cay )Ox+y (Fet Nbu Rs )Oz [0.99<=(x+y)<=1.08; 0.34h(y)<=0.918; 0.375<=(t)<=0.6; 0<=(s)<=0.25; 0.2<= (u)<=0.5, (s+t+u)=1, and (z)=(3t+5u+4s)/2], incorporated with 0.005 to 1 wt.% (as Ag) of silver as the auxiliary ingredient, and sintered at 950 deg.C or lower. The composition is preferably incorporated with a sintering aid, in order to flower sintering temperature. |
