PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a hot-melt type ink jet plate-making printing plate for printing many printed matters of clear image without fogging. SOLUTION: In the method for forming a lithographic printing plate comprising the steps of preparing an original plate for a direct lithographic printing plate having an image receiving layer containing inorganic pigment and hydrophilic bonding resin as main components on a water resistant support, hot melting solid ink composition at ambient temperature, and injecting droplet from a nozzle in the hot melt state to form an image on the receiving layer, the receiving layer uses silica particles having a meal particle size of 1 to 6 μm and colloidal inorganic pigment ultra-fine particles having a mean particle size of 10 to 50 nm by a weight ratio of (40 to 70) to (60 to 30) as the inorganic pigment. As the hydrophilic bonding resin, gelatin is used in a range of (85 to 40) to (15 to 60) by weight of the pigment to the gelatin, and the layer containing them is water resistant cured by gelatin curable compound. |
