PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for thermotherapy, of the type usable also in treatment, which can treat uniformly a diseased part in a coelom by guiding an insert for treatment to a predetermined position even within a curved lumen and can effectively treat the diseased part by providing a uniform treatment which is employed along with heating. SOLUTION: An applicator 1 is provided with a heating electrode 3 in an applicator shaft 2, a flexible balloon 4 covering at least the part of the electrode 3, and a tube 23 communicated to a channel 11 formed in the applicator shaft 2, the tube 23 capable of deviating outwards from the outer periphery of the applicator shaft 2 inside the balloon 4, so that a catheter for small-radiation- source treatment, passed through the channel 11, is guided and deviated outwards from the center of the applicator shaft 2. |
