<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten waiting time before starting the operation of a press by detecting the pressure of an air line, sending a signal to an electromagnetic valve at the time when the pressure reaches a set value and thereby opening the valve. SOLUTION: In starting the operation of a press, air from the air line 1 of a plant is supplied to that of a press through the first circuit and, simultaneously, charging of boosting air starts to a tank 3 by a booster valve 2. At this time, the electromagnetic valve 4 is in a 'closed' state. The air line pressure of the press is detected by a pressure switch 10 and, upon reaching its set value, opening the solenoid valve 4 through the signal of the switch 10. Then, the pressure of the air supplied to various actuators 5 of the press rapidly rises, reaching a prescribed pressure in a short time and enabling the operation of the press. Thus, the air pressure for various actuators of the press can be increased quickly.</p> |
