摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the inspection time through utilization of shortening of the control time by shortening the period of signals generated by a clock circuit on pseudo basis only at the time of inspection, and thereupon allowing control circuits for a discharge lamp device to perform respective control operations by reference to these signals having shortened period. SOLUTION: A clock changeover sensing circuit is furnished to shorten on pseudo basis the period of signals generated by a clock circuit 285 when a voltage VB+αover a voltage VB to signify sensing of the connector being out of place is at the time of inspection impressed on a connector out-of-place sensing terminal. The clock changeover sensing circuit is composed of an at- inspection sensing circuit 286 and a time shortening circuit 287, and when the voltage VB+αis impressed on the circuit 287, it ignores signals from a D-type flipflop 289f, and another D-type flipflop 289g will count clock signals fed to D-type flipflop 289a. This shortens the time in an amount corresponding to the time counted by the D-type flipflops 289a-289f.</p>
