<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically and efficiently separate a gas mixture by installing at least one gas reservoir and at least two adsorption zones and producing a gas with high content of a first component from the supplied gas in one adsorption zone while decreasing the pressure of the rest adsorption zone. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a pair of adsorption containers A, B installed in parallel each other and a gas storage container C, the pressure of a supplies gas is elevated by a pump while valves are properly switched, and the supplied gas is introduced into one adsorption container A in the parallel flow direction. A gas, which is a first component, in high content is removed and in the adsorption container A, a gas containing the first component in high concentration is produced. During the time, a gas removed from the other adsorption container B in the parallel flow direction and at the same time the removed gas is stored in the storage container C to partially decrease the pressure of the adsorption container B. After that, the gas flow routes are switched to move a gas from the adsorption container A to the storage container C and on the other hand, to remove a gas containing a second component in high concentration from the other adsorption container B.</p> |
