The conveyor for low specific mass cardboard or paper sheets (21) comprises transporter parts (12) for changing the direction of the articles. These parts are located side by side along the articles' trajectory. Adjustable speed drives (18) are connected to each of the transporter parts. A caisson with a fan (23) applies the articles against the transporter parts to communicate to the articles' surfaces different speeds.
